This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is designed for hydraulic applications, so it should handle 2000 psi without any trouble.

Got a hydraulic line coming off a pump with a 3/4 NPT male port and I need to swing it 90 degrees over to a -12 JIC hose end. This the right fitting for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 18, 2025, 6:32 AM
For that exact situation, yeah, this is the one. The FBM2040 has a 3/4 inch male NPT on one end and a -12 male JIC 37-degree flare on the other, with a 90-degree bend between them. So it'll thread into your NPT port and give you a JIC flare connection for the hose end, pointed in whatever direction the elbow lands. Eaton Aeroquip makes it, so the fit and finish are solid for standard hydraulic hydraulic connections work.

trying to swap out a bent fitting, is this one a -12 male JIC on one end and 3/4 male NPT on the other, with a 90 elbow?

Youve got it. It’s a 90 degree elbow adapter with a -12 male JIC 37 degree flare on one side and a 3/4 inch male NPT on the other.
