got a hose end thats -04 JIC, will this screw right into a 1/8 npt port or am i mixing stuff up
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 11, 2025, 7:38 AM
On one side it is a -04 male JIC 37 degree flare, and the other side is a 1/8 inch male NPT pipe thread. So it is meant to connect a -04 JIC female flare fitting to a 1/8 NPT female port, in a straight adapter.

got a JIC -04 line I'm trying to tie into a 1/8 NPT port on a small hydraulic manifold. this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 24, 2025, 6:05 AM
That's what this one's built for. One end is a -04 Male JIC 37-degree flare, the other is 1/8 inch Male NPT, straight configuration. If your line and your port match those specs, you're good to go. The Eaton Aeroquip part number is FBM2001, also listed as C1CQ18 or FCM2001 if you're cross-referencing against another catalog.

got a hose end that’s -04 JIC, and the port on my block is 1/8 NPT. is this the right little adapter to marry those up
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 16, 2026, 6:33 AM
For tying a -04 male JIC 37 degree flare connection into a 1/8 inch male NPT threaded port, that is exactly what this straight adapter is built to do.

Got a hydraulic line running off a 1/8 NPT port on a small pump and need to adapt it to a -04 JIC fitting. this the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 16, 2025, 6:51 AM
That's what this adapter is built for. One end threads into a 1/8 inch male NPT port and the other connects to a -04 male JIC 37-degree flare. Both ends are male, so you'd need female counterparts on each side of your connection. The straight configuration keeps things clean and compact, which helps a lot when you're working in a tight spot around pump housings or valve blocks.
