trying to swap a fitting on an old hose, is this one the straight adapter that goes from -12 JIC 37 flare over to 3/4 male NPT?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 5:12 PM
For connecting two different thread styles, this adapter is a straight -12 male JIC 37 degree flare on one end and a 3/4 inch male NPT pipe thread on the other.

i got a hose with a -12 JIC male on it, will this adapter mate up to that and let me go into a 3/4 NPT port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 19, 2025, 4:13 PM
On the JIC side, it is a -12 male 37 degree flare connection. The other end is a 3/4 inch male NPT (male pipe) thread. So it is meant to transition from a JIC 37 degree flare connection over to a 3/4 NPT female port.

Got a -12 JIC line I need to tie into a 3/4 NPT port on a manifold block. This straight adapter gonna work for that without any reducers or extra fittings in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 17, 2025, 8:27 PM
That's exactly the job this fitting handles. One end is a -12 male JIC with the standard 37 degree flare, and the other is 3/4 inch male NPT, so you're going straight from your JIC line into that NPT port in a single piece. No reducers, no unions, no extra connections stacked in the middle.

Will this adapter work to connect a -12 JIC to a 3/4 inch NPT fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 3, 2025, 6:33 AM
This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is indeed designed for that exact purpose – connecting a -12 male JIC 37-degree flare to a 3/4 inch male NPT fitting.
