Manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip, this blue anodized aluminum straight adapter connects a -12 Male JIC 37° flare fitting to a -10 Male JIC 37° flare fitting, allowing a size transition between two male JIC connections in a single inline fitting. The blue anodized aluminum construction offers a lightweight, corrosion-resistant option suited to hydraulic and fluid transfer circuits where a compact, rigid adapter is appropriate.
The Blue Anodized Aluminum Adapter (AN 919), -12 Male JIC 37 deg Flare To -10 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, Straight carries Eaton Aeroquip catalog number C1EB31 and is designed to meet the demands of high-performance hydraulic assemblies. The 37° flare seat geometry ensures a reliable metal-to-metal seal on both ends, consistent with standard JIC fitting practice across industrial hydraulic systems.

got a line running -12 JIC on one end and need to step it down to -10 JIC on the other side, would this adapter do that in a single fitting without needing a union or extra piece in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 10, 2025, 8:13 AM
That's what this fitting handles. One end is -12 male JIC 37 degree flare, the other is -10 male JIC 37 degree flare, both on a straight inline body. You get the size transition in one compact piece, no union, no extra adapter stacked on top of another.

So this adapter goes from a -12 to a -10 JIC, right? Just wanna make sure before I order it.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 25, 2025, 6:16 AM
That's correct. This adapter steps down from a -12 male JIC 37-degree flare to a -10 male JIC 37-degree flare.

got a hose end that’s -12 JIC male and the port i’m tying into is -10 JIC male. is this the right adapter to step that down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 4:29 PM
For that size change, it matches what you’re describing. It is a straight AN 919 style adapter with a -12 male JIC 37 degree flare on one end and a -10 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, so it transitions between two male JIC flare connections inline.
