Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Janet M on Jul 17, 2025, 6:32 PM
what's the blue finish on this locknut actually for, or is it just cosmetic?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 18, 2025, 8:39 PM
Purely functional. The blue anodization is an aluminum surface treatment that adds corrosion resistance, so it holds up better in environments where moisture or fluid exposure is a concern. The aluminum base keeps weight down, and the anodized coating helps protect against degradation over time. It is not just a color choice.
