The 4-way, 3-position design of this monoblock valve allows for precise control and efficient metering in diverse applications. Featuring a spring-centered spool, this valve ensures smooth and responsive operation.
Designed with a cast iron body and precision ground chrome plated spool, this monoblock valve is built to endure rigorous conditions. The inclusion of Buna-N O-rings and a black nylon ball knob further contributes to its durability and ease of use. The valve is equipped with a 3/4 NPT inlet & outlet and 1/2 NPT work ports, making it versatile for various configurations.
Small and compact, the AO755 valve offers 18 GPM flow rating and can withstand a maximum operating pressure of 3000 PSI. It is recommended to use 30-micron filtration to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
got a compact power unit on a small trailer, is this valve gonna handle 18 gpm and 3000 psi without being the bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 29, 2025, 6:49 AM
With an 18 GPM flow rating and a 3000 PSI maximum operating pressure, it fits systems in that range. It is a small, compact monoblock valve, so it is often chosen when space is tight but you still need a full 4-way, 3-position manual valve.

got a log splitter setup, how’s the lever supposed to act on this one, does it stay put or spring back?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 11, 2025, 3:04 PM
After you let go of the handle, the spring centered spool returns the valve back to center on its own, so it does not stay latched in a work position.
Question by: Brent R on Sep 19, 2025, 7:04 AM
flow rating on this thing is 18 GPM, is that enough for running a single cylinder on a mid-size log splitter or skid steer attachment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 20, 2025, 3:59 PM
For a single-cylinder setup on something like a log splitter or a light skid steer attachment, 18 GPM is generally plenty. The valve handles up to 18 GPM and 3000 PSI, so it fits well within the typical demand of those kinds of single-actuator systems. Just keep in mind the tank port needs to run directly back to tank, not tied into a shared return line, so plan your hydraulic connections accordingly.

Will this valve work okay with standard hydraulic fluid, or do I need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 2, 2025, 6:16 AM
This monoblock valve is designed with Buna-N O-rings, which are compatible with standard hydraulic fluids. Using 30-micron filtration is recommended for optimal performance and to help ensure a long service life.
