Designed by Danfoss Power Solutions Aeroquip, this specific application hose offers exceptional reliability for automotive and industrial air brake systems. It features an AQPreg; elastomer tube with polyester inner braid and single wire braid reinforcement.

The blue AQPreg; elastomer cover provides robust resistance to wear and environmental conditions. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 400 PSI and functions within a temperature range of -40deg;F to +300deg;F, though air should not exceed 250 PSI or +250deg;F.

Allowing flexibility in installation, its minimum bend radius is 3.5 inches. The vacuum service capacity reaches up to 15 inches Hg, making it adaptable to various industrial applications, including air, gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, and coolants.

gonna use this for a compressed air setup on my rig. what is the hottest temp it handles before giving out

Air applications max out at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. While the hose generally handles fluids up to 300 degrees, you need to keep compressed air under that 250-degree limit and below 250 PSI for safe operation.

For air service specifically, the limit is 250 PSI, not the full 400. The 400 PSI maximum operating pressure applies to other compatible fluids like fuel, lubricating oils, and coolants. So if you're running this in an air brake system, keep your operating pressure under that 250 PSI threshold. Temperature follows the same split logic too. Air should stay at or below 250 degrees F, while the overall hose rating goes up to 300 degrees F.
