got a -24 line to replace. is this hose actually 1-3/8 id and what’s the outside size?

The dash size is -24 and the hose I.D. is 1.38 inch. Outside diameter is listed at 1.75 inch, so you have a little more bulk to account for when routing or clamping.

hose gonna hold up running petroleum hydraulic fluid day in day out, or is 500 PSI about the ceiling for what it can take?

Five hundred PSI is the rated maximum operating pressure, so keeping your system at or below that is where it performs reliably. For continuous petroleum-based hydraulic fluid service, the AQP tube material is built specifically for that kind of exposure. The polyester cover adds a layer of abrasion resistance on top of that, so regular contact with fittings, equipment edges, or rough routing conditions won't eat through it quickly. With a 150,000-cycle impulse life, it's not a light-duty hose pretending to be something more.

got a tight spot to route this line. how sharp can i bend that FC300-24 hose without kinkin it

For routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 10.5 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps it flex without kinking and keeps the reinforcement doing its job.
