Question by: Hank H on Oct 2, 2025, 7:24 PM
Is this thing okay to use where it gets kinda hot, like near an engine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 3, 2025, 8:13 PM
This model is safe up to 125 degrees Fahrenheit if it has the polycarbonate bowl. If you need higher temps, look for one with a metal bowl, which handles up to 175 degrees.
Question by: Daryl J on Nov 6, 2025, 7:12 PM
runs about 47 scfm on this thing -- that enough flow for a quarter-inch port setup running a couple small air tools off the same line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 1:24 PM
For a 1/4 NPT setup, 47 SCFM is a solid flow rating at that port size. The 1000 Series is classified as miniature, so it's built for lighter-duty pneumatic work rather than high-demand multi-tool lines. If you're running two tools simultaneously and they're both pulling decent air volume, you'd want to add up their combined SCFM draw and make sure it stays under that 47 SCFM ceiling. Single tools or low-draw equipment on a 1/4 inch line should have no trouble at all.

tight spot on my machine, i need filter and regulator together. is this one of those piggyback setups and what size ports is it
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 27, 2025, 10:15 AM
For cramped installs, a piggyback filter regulator is the combo unit that handles both air filtration and pressure regulation in one compact body. This model is that style, and it has 1/4 NPT ports with a 5 micron filter element.
