Description & Features

This liquid-filled gauge is made from durable 304 stainless steel and features a 2.5" dial for clear readings. The polycarbonate window ensures visibility and robustness while the brass male connection includes a 0.013" throttle plug.

The pressure gauge offers an accuracy of 3-2-3% of span accommodating pressures up to 5000 PSI or 350 Bar. Suitable for various industrial applications it supports 1/4 NPT bottom connection threads for ease of installation.

Operating within 25%-75% of the scale is recommended for optimal performance. If pulsation occurs maximum operating gauge pressure should not exceed 50% of the full-scale range.

gauge is liquid filled -- does that help with vibration or pulsation, or is it mainly just for visibility?

Liquid fill does both. It dampens needle movement caused by vibration and pressure spikes, which makes readings easier to catch at a glance and also reduces wear on the internal mechanism over time. That said, if your system runs with regular pulsation, keep the operating pressure at or below 50% of the full-scale range. On this gauge that works out to 2,500 PSI max under pulsating conditions. Running above that in a pulsating system will shorten the gauge's life regardless of the fill.
