Does this adaptor work with standard JIC fittings or is it something specific to Brakequip's own line?

JIC fittings follow a standardized thread and flare specification, so the No. 3 JIC end on this adaptor is compatible with other JIC fittings that share that same standard. The 3/8 x 24NF thread on the other end handles the opposite connection. Brakequip manufactured this one, part number BQ135, but the JIC side isn't proprietary to their lineup.
