Does this adapter work with H338 hose, or do I need something different for that application?

H338 hose is one of the compatible types for this fitting, along with H105 and H115. It's a field attachable design, so you can put it together on site without needing a crimping machine. The body is CA360 brass, which holds up well against corrosion in air brake line environments.
