The Brass Field Attachable 338 B Series Air Brake Adapter is designed for air brake hose lines. Suitable for 3/8 male air brake to 0.38 inch male NPT connections this adapter ensures reliable performance and durability.

Constructed from CA360 brass it offers superior resistance against corrosion. This product is compatible with H105 H115 and H338 hoses. Assembly is straightforward: slide the nut and sleeve onto the hose push the hose into the fitting and screw the nut until contact is made with the body hex.

got a 3/8 air brake hose line, will this adapt it over to a male npt port without any funny business?

For air brake hose lines, this adapter is made to go from a 3/8 male air brake end over to a 0.38 inch male NPT connection in a straight configuration.

got a H338 hose I'm trying to connect up, this fitting gonna work with it or do I need something different?

H338 hose is one of the compatible hose types for this adapter, along with H105 and H115. Slide the nut and sleeve onto the hose first, push the hose into the fitting, then turn the nut down until it contacts the body hex. That's all there is to it, no special tools required for field assembly.
