The Eaton 338B Series Field Attachable Brass Air Brake Fittings are suitable for use in air brake hose lines. Made from CA360 brass these fittings boast excellent corrosion resistance. Compatible with hose models H105 H115 and H338 this adapter ensures a secure and reliable connection.

Assembly is straightforward: start by sliding the nut and sleeve onto the hose ensuring the bevel edge of the sleeve faces out toward the fitting. Push the hose into the fitting until it reaches the bottom then screw the nut until it makes contact with the body hex.

Features include ease of assembly with various hose end configurations and suitability for nearly any air brake line. The pressure range is determined by the maximum working pressure for the hose size and hose end configuration whichever is lesser. Consult working pressure ratings for specific hose end configurations.

Does this fitting work with H338 hose, or do I need a different series for that?

H338 hose is one of the compatible hose models for this fitting, along with H105 and H115. Slide the nut and sleeve onto the hose first, bevel edge of the sleeve facing outward toward the fitting, push the hose all the way to the bottom of the fitting, then run the nut down until it contacts the body hex. No special tools required for that assembly sequence.
