Question by: Lee A on Apr 17, 2025, 1:23 PM
Been using copper lines on a compressor setup and need a fitting that'll go straight to a male NPT port without flaring the tube. This one do the job for 3/4 inch OD copper?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 19, 2025, 12:15 PM
For 3/4 inch OD copper tubing connecting to a 3/4-14 male NPT port, that's exactly what this fitting handles. No flaring needed on your end either. The compression design does the sealing work, so you're just sliding the tube in and tightening down. It's rated for air service, so a compressor application fits right in its wheelhouse.

How difficult is it to put one of these fittings on aluminum tubing, seeing as how it doesn't need any flaring?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 8:42 AM
These compression fittings are engineered to be pretty straightforward; the design eliminates the need for flaring, making the installation process simpler, especially on softer metals like aluminum.

got 3/4 inch copper tube, will this fitting hook me up to a 3/4-14 male NPT port without having to flare the line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 6:40 PM
For a 0.75 inch tube OD in copper or aluminum, it gives you a compression connection on the tube side and a 3/4-14 male NPT thread on the other side. It is made to assemble without flaring, so you do not have to flare the tubing to install it.
