Brass Compression Fitting For Plastic, Copper, & Aluminum Tubing, 0.13 Inch Tube OD To 1/8-27 Male NPT, 90 deg Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for precision in instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems this compression fitting ensures reliability and performance. The fitting's robust construction from CA360 brass material supports a significant working pressure up to 2000 psi with a 4:1 safety factor depending on tube size. Specifically it is compatible with aluminum copper and plastic tubing; for plastic tubing the Eaton PT230 insert is required. The fitting operates effectively within a temperature range of -65F to +250F with metal tubing. The assembly is straightforward requiring no flaring and offers a broad selection of styles and sizes to cater to various needs. Its design complies with ASA ASME and SAE standards ensuring high-quality performance. For applications where vibration resistance is crucial it is recommended to use the long nut version of the fitting. The fitting has fair resistance to vibration.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Steve R on Jan 14, 2026, 8:02 AM
does this fitting work with plastic tubing or do I need some kinda insert for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 16, 2026, 7:49 AM
Plastic tubing does require an insert. You'll need the Eaton PT230 insert when running plastic line through this fitting. Copper and aluminum tubing go in without any extra piece. The fitting itself is CA360 brass and handles up to 2000 psi working pressure, though the actual rating can vary depending on what tube size you're running.
