The Danfoss / Eaton Compression 90 Male Elbow is a reliable solution engineered for instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This fitting is made from CA360 brass offering superior durability and resistance to corrosion. It accommodates a tube O.D. of 0.375 inches and a 1/4-18 male NPT thread making it compatible with plastic copper and aluminum tubing. The fitting operates effectively within a pressure range up to 2000 psi and a temperature range from -65F to +250F with metal tubing. If plastic tubing is used ensure compatibility with the tubing's temperature range. This elbow fitting meets ASA ASME and SAE standards and is easy to assemble without the need for flaring. It provides fair resistance to vibration and is available with either long or short nuts for versatile applications. Critical assembly instructions include cutting the tubing sliding the nut and sleeve bottoming the tubing on the fitting shoulder lubricating threads and tightening the nut per specifications.

fitting says it works with plastic tubing but also lists a temp range for metal -- does that mean plastic tubing has its own separate limits I need to worry about?

Right, those two aren't the same. The minus 65 to 250 degree Fahrenheit range applies when you're running metal tubing like copper or aluminum. Plastic tubing has its own thermal limits depending on the material, so you'd need to verify that your specific plastic tubing can handle whatever temperatures your system runs at before calling it good.

got a 3/8 tube line i need to turn 90 into a 1/4 npt port. is this the right elbow?
