The Danfoss / Eaton Compression Male Run Tee is designed for seamless integration into instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This brass compression fitting accommodates a 0.38 inch tube OD run and branch to a 0.38 inch male NPT run ensuring reliability under demanding conditions.
Constructed from CA360 brass this fitting meets the specifications and standards of ASA ASME and SAE and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for flammable liquids. Suitable for use with aluminum copper and plastic tubing it offers a broad selection of styles and sizes.
With a working pressure up to 2000 psi and a temperature range from -65F to +250F with metal tubing it is highly versatile. The fitting also exhibits fair resistance to vibration which can be enhanced by using a long nut.
Key features include easy assembly without flaring and the option for long or short nuts. For plastic tubing applications an Eaton PT230 insert may be required. Note that using compatible plastic tubing should not exceed its temperature range.

fitting says it works with plastic tubing, is there anything extra needed to make that work right, or does it just thread on like normal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 4, 2025, 12:58 PM
Plastic tubing does need a little extra attention with this one. An Eaton PT230 insert is recommended when running plastic tubing through the fitting. Without it, the compression may not seat correctly against the softer tube wall. Also worth keeping in mind that plastic tubing has its own temperature limits, and those limits take priority over the fitting's rated range, so make sure whatever plastic tubing you're using is rated for the conditions you're running.

Will this tee fitting work with plastic tubing, or is it just for metal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 10, 2026, 11:22 AM
This fitting is suitable for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. For plastic tubing applications, an Eaton PT230 insert might be needed. Just remember that the plastic tubing's temperature range shouldn't be exceeded.
