Designed for use with plastic copper and aluminum tubing this brass compression fitting offers reliable connections in instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It features a 0.25 inch tube OD to 1/8-27 female NPT configuration.

This fitting built from CA360 brass supports working pressures up to 2000 psi depending on tube size and is suitable for temperatures ranging from -65F to +250F with metal tubing. Use with compatible plastic tubing is feasible within the tubing's temperature range. For plastic tubing exceptions an Eaton PT230 insert is required.

Installation is streamlined with no need for flaring; simply follow the lubrication and assembly instructions provided. The fitting exhibits fair vibration resistance and a long nut option is available for situations requiring enhanced vibration resistance.

The fitting meets ASA ASME and SAE standards and can be used with a broad selection of tubing styles and sizes. However steel tubing is not recommended. This compression fitting delivers a dependable low-cost solution for various industrial applications.

Got some 1/4 inch copper tubing I need to tie into a 1/8 NPT female port. This fitting gonna work for that, or do I need something different?

Copper tubing with a 0.25 inch OD going into a 1/8-27 female NPT port is exactly what this fitting is built for. No flaring needed either. Just follow the lubrication and assembly steps and you should get a solid, leak-free connection rated up to 2000 psi depending on your tube size.

Is this fitting okay to use with aluminum tubing?

Yes, this brass compression fitting is designed for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing, in addition to copper. Just note that steel tubing isn't recommended for use with it.
