Will this fitting hold up okay in a system that sees pretty high pressures?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 22, 2025, 11:30 AM
This fitting has a working pressure capacity of up to 2000 psi, with a 4:1 safety factor, so it should be suitable for demanding environments.
Question by: Warren C on May 12, 2025, 9:13 PM
fitting says it works with plastic tubing but does it matter what kind? like will it grip nylon or poly tubing the same as copper?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 14, 2025, 10:05 AM
Plastic tubing compatibility does vary, so it's worth checking your specific tubing material against what this fitting is rated for. The product notes that plastic tubing should be confirmed compatible before use to get the best performance. Copper and aluminum are straightforward fits, but with plastic there's more variation between tubing types, so just make sure your tubing meets the specs before putting it into service.
