Optimize your instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems with this precision-engineered compression fitting. Designed specifically for use with aluminum copper and plastic tubing it boasts a tube outer diameter of 0.3125 inches and a 1/8-27 male NPT thread. The robust CA360 brass construction ensures durability and reliable performance under varying conditions.
Assembly is straightforward: cut tubing to length slide nut and sleeve onto the tube insert the tubing into the fitting body lubricate threads and tighten. No flaring is required facilitating a quick and secure connection. The fitting meets strict ASA ASME and SAE standards offering seamless integration into existing setups.
Maintaining performance across a temperature range of -65F to +250F with metal tubing it supports up to 2000 psi working pressure contingent on tube size. For applications requiring extra vibration resistance the use of a long nut is recommended.
fitting says it works with plastic, copper, and aluminum tubing, does that mean I don't need to flare the tube ends before putting it together?

No flaring needed at all. You cut the tubing to length, slide the nut and sleeve on, push the tube into the fitting body, lubricate the threads, and tighten it up. The compression sleeve does the sealing work, so there's no extra prep on the tube end required.
