The Danfoss / Eaton Compression Male Connector designed for precise instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems ensures seamless assembly without requiring flaring. It features a rugged CA360 brass construction suitable for plastic copper and aluminum tubing. This versatile fitting accommodates a tube outer diameter of 0.38 inch and a 1/8-27 Male NPT thread ensuring robust connections.

Its pressure range reaches up to 2000 psi with a 4:1 safety factor depending on tube size and maintains a temperature range of -65F to +250F with metal tubing. For optimal performance it conforms to ASA ASME and SAE standards.

Installation is straightforward: cut the tubing slide the nut and sleeve on the tube insert the tubing into the fitting body and tighten the nut. The product offers fair vibration resistance with the option of a long nut for higher resistance needs. It is available in a broad selection of styles and sizes.

Does this fitting work with plastic tubing, or is it only meant for metal lines?

Plastic tubing is fully supported alongside copper and aluminum. The compression design handles all three without requiring any flaring, so you just cut your tube clean, slide the nut and sleeve on, seat the tube in the fitting body, and tighten down the nut. The 3/8 inch outer diameter is the tube size it's built for, and the male end threads into a 1/8-27 NPT port.
