Precision engineered for instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems this Weatherhead Brass Compression Fitting is an ideal choice for connecting plastic copper and aluminum tubing. Suitable for various industrial applications it ensures a secure and reliable connection with a working pressure of up to 2000 psi featuring a comprehensive safety factor of 4:1 depending on the tube size. Made from high-quality CA360 brass the fitting offers easy assembly without the need for flaring. It is available with either a long or short nut providing flexibility to meet specific requirements. This fitting meets ASA ASME and SAE specifications and is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for use with flammable liquids on special order. The fitting's temperature range extends from -65F to +250F when used with metal tubing and its vibration resistance can be enhanced with long nuts for increased stability. When used with plastic tubing it is necessary to adhere to the tubing's temperature range and working pressure specifications.

got some half inch aluminum tubing here, will this connector hook it up straight to a 1/4 npt male thread without any issues

Will this fitting work with 1/2" OD aluminum tubing, or is it only for plastic and copper?
