The MIDLAND INDUSTRIES Brass Compression Insert ensures reliable performance for air oil and water applications. Constructed from durable brass it is designed for copper and aluminum tubing with a 0.19 inch tube O.D.

Engineered to withstand pressures up to 500 PSI for 1/8 to 1/4 tubing sizes this compression insert is easy to assemble and requires no flaring. Suitable for vacuum service it operates efficiently within a temperature range of -65F to 250F.

Note that it is not recommended for use with steel tubing. Low-cost and dependable it should be reviewed for important safety information before use for specific applications.

these go in copper tubing right? got some 3/16 line i been meaning to fix up and wanna make sure i ain't gotta flare nothing

Copper tubing is exactly what these are made for, and no flaring required at all. The insert slips into the tubing end and the compression fitting does the work for you. Just make sure your tubing outside diameter is 0.19 inch before ordering, and you're good to go.
