With a tube O.D. of 0.19 inches it supports working pressures up to 2000 psi given a 4:1 safety factor depending on the tube size. This assembly-friendly component offers ease of use without the need for flaring and provides a broad selection of styles and sizes.

Temperature range for this nut spans from -65F to +250F when used with metal tubing. For those using compatible plastic tubing its crucial to adhere to the specific temperature limits of the plastic used.

Meeting ASA ASME and SAE standards this product is listed by Underwriters Laboratories for flammable liquids on special order. It is also suitable for instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

For applications requiring fair vibration resistance selecting the long nut configuration is recommended. Notably it is not advised to use this nut with steel tubing.

does this nut work with copper tubing or just plastic? asking cause i got both running in my shop and want to make sure i grab the right part

Copper, aluminum, and plastic tubing are all compatible with this nut. The one thing to keep in mind with plastic is that the temperature limits of whatever plastic you're running take priority over the nut's own rated range, so make sure your tubing material can handle the conditions in your system. For metal tubing like copper, you're covered from -65F up to 250F. Steel tubing is not compatible, so steer clear of that combination.

What kind of tubing can I use this nut with? I've got some copper laying around.

This spare part nut from the Eaton Aeroquip 61x series is designed for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. Just be sure to check the temperature limits of the plastic if you go that route.
