The Danfoss / Eaton Compression Sleeve provides efficiency in connecting plastic, copper, and aluminum tubing with a 0.13-inch tube OD. This component is engineered from CA360 brass, ensuring durability and effective performance within instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
With a working pressure reaching up to 2000 psi, dependent on tube size, it meets ASA, ASME, and SAE specifications, and is listed by Underwriterrsquo;s Laboratories for flammable liquids. This compression sleeve offers a wide temperature range from -65deg;F to +250deg;F for metal tubing applications.
Low cost and easy assembly are key features, with no flaring required. The design accommodates both long and short nuts, providing flexibility for various setups. Additionally, it is suitable for applications demanding fair vibration resistance, with the option to use a long nut for enhanced stability.

these sleeves work on plastic tubing or just metal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 7:26 PM
Copper, aluminum, and plastic tubing are all compatible with this sleeve. One thing to keep in mind with plastic tubing is that most types will require a 2030 insert alongside the sleeve. The exception is Eaton PT230 plastic tubing, which does not need the insert. Steel tubing is not recommended for use with this fitting.

Will this compression sleeve work with plastic tubing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 14, 2026, 9:49 PM
These sleeves are designed for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. However, Eaton PT230 plastic tubing requires the 2030 insert.

got a little 0.13 inch OD tube, do i need to flare it for this sleeve to seal up right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 9, 2025, 6:46 AM
No flaring is required with this compression sleeve. It’s made for easy assembly on 0.13 inch tube OD tubing, using a compression setup instead of a flare.
Question by: Sherry W on May 13, 2025, 6:13 AM
What kind of tubing does this sleeve actually work with? Got some copper lines I'm trying to connect up and want to make sure before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on May 14, 2025, 7:28 AM
Copper tubing is one of the main tube types this sleeve is built for, along with plastic and aluminum. The tube OD needs to be 0.13 inch, and it works with both long and short nuts, so you've got some flexibility depending on how your setup is laid out. No flaring required either, which makes the whole job a lot simpler.
Question by: Tony J on Jun 30, 2025, 7:50 PM
Hey, would this sleeve hold up alright if I'm running some aluminum tubing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 2, 2025, 10:25 AM
Absolutely, this compression sleeve is crafted from CA360 brass and is designed for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing, so aluminum should work just fine for ya.
