The Weatherhead Brass Compression Fittings are ideal for instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The fitting is designed for plastic copper and aluminum tubing with an outer diameter of 0.19 inches providing a versatile solution for various industrial applications.

Crafted from high-quality CA360 brass this compression union offers reliable performance in demanding environments. It features a broad selection of styles and sizes and can be easily assembled without flaring making it a cost-effective choice.

With a working pressure up to 2000 psi and a wide temperature range of -65F to +250F (with metal tubing) this fitting meets the specifications and standards of ASA ASME and SAE. For plastic tubing ensure to follow the working pressure and temperature range specific to the material used.

The fitting has fair vibration resistance and a long nut is recommended for greater resistance. When using plastic tubing an Eaton PT230 insert is required except for specific types. As with all installations it is crucial to follow the provided assembly instructions for optimal performance and safety.

got some 3/16 OD aluminum tubing on a pneumatic line, this union gonna work with that size?

Aluminum tubing with a 3/16 inch outer diameter is exactly what this fitting is built for. It also handles plastic and copper at that same OD, so if you ever swap materials down the road you won't need a different union. Just make sure you follow the assembly instructions for your specific tubing type, and if you're running plastic, you'll need an Eaton PT230 insert unless the plastic type is one of the noted exceptions.

Will this work with nylon tubing or just metal?

When using it with plastic tubing, make sure you check the pressure and temperature ratings for the specific plastic you're using.
