The Brass Compression Fitting For Plastic Copper & Aluminum Tubing 0.25 Inch Tube OD Union offers a versatile solution for instrumentation hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Constructed from durable CA360 brass this fitting is designed for easy assembly without flaring. It is compatible with aluminum copper and plastic tubing but it is not recommended for steel tubing. For plastic tubing except Eaton PT230 a 2030 insert is required.

This fitting can handle a working pressure up to 2000 psi with a 4:1 safety factor depending on the tube size. It operates within a temperature range of -65F to +250F with metal tubing and is dependent on the temperature limits of the plastic tubing used.

does this fitting work with plastic tubing or do I need something extra for that

For most plastic tubing, you'll need a 2030 insert alongside this fitting. The exception is Eaton PT230 tubing, which doesn't require one. Outside of that, aluminum and copper tubing go straight in without any additional pieces.
