Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Hugh S on Feb 28, 2026, 5:33 PM
what hose size does this ferrule work with, and will the .88 ID actually match up right when I go to crimp it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 12:47 PM
For a 1/2-inch hose, the 0.88-inch inner diameter is the correct fit. The ID is sized to seat around that hose before crimping, and the 0.875-inch length gives you enough sleeve to get a solid bite without being so long it creates fitment issues on shorter fittings. Brass holds up well under the mechanical stress of crimping, so you shouldn't see cracking or deformation during the process if your crimper is set right for that diameter.
