Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Lynn M on Jun 29, 2025, 9:34 PM
fitting says 3/8-18 NPT but I wanna make sure that's the thread size on the male end going into the port, not some other measurement. that right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 5:16 PM
Yes, the 3/8-18 refers to the male NPT thread on the port-side end of the fitting. That's a standard 3/8 inch nominal pipe thread at 18 threads per inch, which is what you'd expect to see threading into a matching female NPT port on your air brake system.
