Designed specifically for NT100 Nylon Tubing - SAE J844 Type A and B this fitting has a 0.25 inch outer diameter and supports a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi.

Does this fitting work with nylon air brake lines, or is it meant for something else?

Nylon tubing is exactly what it's built for. Specifically, it's rated for NT100 Nylon Tubing that meets SAE J844 Type A and B. The tube OD is 0.25 inch, so as long as your line matches that size, you're in good shape. No flaring or prep work needed before assembly either, which saves some time on the job.
