The Brass DOT Approved Air Brake Tube Fitting 0.25 Inch Tube OD Nut is designed for use with NT100 Nylon Tubing - SAE J844 Type A and B. Made from CA360 brass it ensures durability and reliability in various conditions.

This fitting meets the standards of SAE and DOT FMVSS 571.106 and is capable of handling a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40F to +200F.

The fitting features simple assembly without the need for tube preparation or flaring and includes built-in tube support. For convenience reassembly only requires pushing the tubing and insert into the fitting body until it bottoms then threading the nut onto the fitting body and torquing accordingly.

Disassembly is straightforward by removing the nut and pulling the tubing out of the fitting body with the insert remaining in the tubing. This product also demonstrates fair vibration resistance contributing to its performance in demanding applications.
