does this nut work with half inch tube OD or is it sized different than that

Half-inch tube OD is exactly what this nut is built for. The 0.50-inch tube OD spec is the whole point of this part, so if your air brake line matches that dimension, you're in good shape. No flaring or tube prep required either, which makes getting it on the line a lot more straightforward than some other fittings out there.

got a half inch OD air brake line, is this the right nut for it or am i mixing sizes
