DANFOSS Power Solutions offers a Brass DOT approved air brake tube fitting engineered for NT100 nylon tubing meeting SAE J844 Type A and B standards. Complying with SAE and DOT FMVSS 571.106 specifications this fitting ensures reliable usage in air brake systems.

The fitting simplifies the assembly process with no tube preparation or flaring required. Constructed from durable CA360 brass it operates efficiently within a pressure range of up to 150 psi and withstands temperatures from -40F to +200F. This fitting integrates an internal support for added stability.

Threaded 1/2-14 NPT it accommodates a 0.63-inch tube outer diameter. Reassemble easily by pushing the tubing into the fitting body until it bottoms then threading and torquing the nut. The design offers fair resistance to vibrations.

got a 0.63" OD nylon air brake line, does this fitting go on without flaring the tube?

No flaring or tube prep is needed with this style. You push the NT100 nylon tubing (SAE J844 Type A and B) into the fitting body until it bottoms out, then thread and torque the nut to finish the connection.
