trying to hook 1/4 nylon air line to a valve with 1/8 npt threads, is this the right straight fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 17, 2025, 6:41 AM
Fit-wise it matches a 0.25 inch tube OD on one side and a 1/8-27 male NPT thread on the other, in a straight connector. It’s also called out as compatible with NT100 nylon tubing that meets SAE J844 Type A and B.
Question by: Dwayne S on Sep 29, 2025, 5:34 PM
fitting says it works with nylon tubing but does it need any special prep before installing, like cutting the tube square or anything like that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 8:29 AM
No tube preparation or flaring is needed before assembly. The fitting has a built-in tube support that handles the connection without any extra steps on your end. Just make sure you're running NT100 Nylon Tubing that meets SAE J844 Type A or B spec and you're good to go. Cut it clean and push it in.
