This Danfoss / Eaton air brake tube fitting is a straight male connector designed for use with NT100 Nylon Tubing - SAE J844 Type A and B.

Constructed from CA360 Brass, this DOT-approved fitting ensures conformance with SAE and DOT FMVSS 571.106 standards. The Brass DOT Approved Air Brake Tube Fitting, 0.38 Inch Tube OD To 1/2-14 Male NPT, Straight offers easy assembly without the need for tube preparation or flaring, and features built-in tube support.

It accommodates a 0.38 inch tube OD and has a 1/2-14 male NPT thread. This fitting provides fair vibration resistance and is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -40°F to +200°F, with a maximum operating pressure of 150 psi.

Got a nylon air brake line on a trailer running 3/8 inch tube, will this fitting thread into a standard 1/2 NPT port without any adapters in between?

For a 3/8 inch OD nylon tube on one end and a 1/2-14 male NPT thread on the other, this is a direct fit. No adapter needed. The male NPT threads straight into a matching female 1/2 NPT port, and the tube end is built to grab onto nylon air brake tubing specifically. Eaton Aeroquip made this connector for exactly that kind of nylon tubing application, so you're not working around any mismatches here.
