does this fitting work with regular nylon air brake tubing or does it need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2025, 8:56 AM
NT100 Nylon Tubing is what it's built for, specifically tubing that meets SAE J844 Type A and B specs. As long as your tubing falls under that standard, you're good to go. No flaring or special prep needed either. Just cut the tubing, slide the nut and sleeve on, insert it into the fitting body, and tighten the nut down. Pretty straightforward job.

got 1/2 inch nylon air brake tube, will this go right into it and thread into a 3/8-18 npt port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 7, 2025, 5:11 PM
It’s a straight brass connector that takes 0.50 inch tube O.D. on one side and 3/8-18 male NPT on the other. It’s called out for use with NT100 nylon tubing meeting SAE J844 Type A and B.
