got a 1/2 inch nylon air brake line i need to tie into a 1/2 NPT male port, this fitting gonna work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 18, 2025, 7:49 AM
That's what this one's built for. It connects 0.50 inch OD nylon tubing to a 1/2-14 male NPT port in a straight configuration. Just make sure your tubing is NT100 nylon meeting SAE J844 Type A or Type B spec and you're good to go. No flaring or tube prep needed before you push it in.

got some 1/2 inch nylon air brake line, will this fitting hook up to it without me flaring the tube?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 6:51 AM
For NT100 nylon tubing (SAE J844 Type A and B), it’s a push-to-connect style that does not require tube prep or flaring, and it has a built-in tube support to help keep the tube stable.
