Constructed from CA360 brass this high-quality air brake tube fitting ensures reliable performance. The fitting supports NT100 nylon tubing according to SAE J844 Type A and B standards. With compatibility for a tube diameter of 0.63 inches and a 1/2-14 male NPT thread it delivers secure connections for industrial applications.

Designed explicitly for air brake systems the fitting includes built-in tube support and requires no tube preparation or flaring simplifying assembly. It can operate efficiently within a temperature range of -40F to +200F and handles a maximum pressure of 150 psi.

Will this fitting hold up okay in an air brake system on a semi-truck?

fitting says no tube prep needed, that mean I don't gotta flare the end or nothing before I put it on?

Correct, no flaring required and no special tube preparation before assembly. The fitting has built-in tube support that handles all of that internally. You just cut your nylon tubing clean and square, insert it, and tighten to the specified torque. That built-in support is what keeps the connection solid without any extra steps on the tube end.
