Brass Adapter, 0.63 Inch Female 42 deg Inverted Flare To 1/2-14 Male NPT, 90 deg Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for 42° inverted flare connections, this brass adapter from ACR Industries transitions a 0.63-inch female inverted flare fitting to a 1/2-14 male NPT thread in a 90-degree elbow configuration. The right-angle geometry makes it well-suited for installations where inline routing is impractical or where space constraints require a directional change at the connection point.

Brass construction provides reliable corrosion resistance and compatibility with a wide range of hydraulic and fluid system media. The Brass Adapter, 0.63 Inch Female 42 deg Inverted Flare To 1/2-14 Male NPT, 90 deg Elbow is part of ACR Industries' 42° Inverted Flare To Pipe Adapter line, catalog number C1ZY80.

i got a 5/8 tube line with a 42 degree inverted flare, is this the elbow that’ll mate up to 1/2-14 npt?

For tying a 0.63 inch tube O.D. 42 degree inverted flare female connection into a 1/2-14 male NPT port, that’s exactly what this brass 90 degree elbow adapter is built for.

Got a 5/8 OD tube line I'm trying to connect up to a half-inch NPT port at a 90, will this fitting work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 22, 2025, 11:22 AM
The female end on this adapter seats a 0.63 inch OD tube with a 42 degree inverted flare seat, and the male end threads into a 1/2-14 NPT port. If your tube is genuinely 5/8 inch OD and your flare matches that 42 degree inverted angle, it'll connect right up to that NPT port at a clean 90 degree turn. Just make sure your flare tool is cutting at 42 degrees and not the more common 45, because those two are not interchangeable.
