Is this adapter suitable for use with propane gas lines, or is it just for natural gas?

This brass adapter can handle both LP (propane) and natural gas, but the natural gas option is noted as special order.

got a line with a 0.31 female 42 degree inverted flare on it, will this screw into a 1/8-27 npt port without any extra adapters?
