Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Darryl Y on Sep 23, 2025, 8:07 PM
Can this elbow handle hydraulic systems alright, or is it better suited for something else like refrigeration?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 25, 2025, 4:55 PM
It’s designed for hydraulic systems, but also works with grease, refrigeration, and instrumentation setups. Fuel, LP, and natural gas applications are available via special order, too.
Question by: Patty W on Aug 15, 2025, 11:46 AM
What all can this elbow fitting be used for, besides hydraulics?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 16, 2025, 4:31 PM
Grease systems, refrigeration lines, and instrumentation setups are all fair game with this fitting. If you need it for fuel, LP, or natural gas service, those applications are available but have to be ordered special. It covers a pretty wide range for a standard brass elbow.
Question by: Harvey P on Jan 13, 2026, 9:20 PM
trying to swap out an old street elbow, are both ends on this one 1/2-14 npt and is it female to male?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 15, 2026, 3:36 PM
It’s a 90 degree street elbow with 1/2-14 female NPT on one end and 1/2-14 male NPT on the other. Both ends are listed as NPTF thread type.
