Question by: Diane G on Oct 2, 2025, 9:32 PM
Got a refrigeration line that makes a real sharp turn in a tight spot, does this fitting actually do a full 90 degrees, or is it more of a gradual bend?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 4, 2025, 4:12 PM
Full 90-degree turn, no gradual curve to it. The elbow is a hard right angle, which is exactly what you want when space is tight and you need to redirect a line cleanly without bending the tubing itself. The female end accepts the incoming line and the male end routes it out perpendicular. Both sides are 3/8-inch SAE 45-degree flare, so as long as your tubing and fittings match that spec, you're good to go.

Trying to hook up 3/8 tube lines, is this the 90 degree elbow that’s 3/8 female flare on one side and 3/8 male flare on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 13, 2025, 6:32 PM
For a right-angle connection, it’s a brass 90 degree elbow adapter with SAE 45 degree flare ends, sized for 0.38 inch tube O.D., with a 0.38 inch female flare on one end and a 0.38 inch male flare on the other.
