got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 JIC, but the port i’m going into is pipe thread. is this the right adapter to tie those together
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 5, 2025, 5:43 PM
For that mix of ends, yes. It’s a straight brass adapter with a 3/8-18 male NPTF pipe thread on one side and a 3/4-16 male SAE 37 degree flare (JIC) on the other, so it’s meant to bridge an NPT port to a JIC flare connection.
Question by: Floyd T on Aug 16, 2025, 9:02 PM
does this thing work as a straight adapter, or is there any angle to it? trying to connect a 3/8 NPT port to a JIC line and just need something that runs inline
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 6:53 AM
it's a straight adapter, no angle involved. One end is 3/8-18 male NPT and the other is 3/4-16 male JIC 37-degree flare, both running in the same direction. If your port and your line are already lined up, this'll connect them clean without any offset.
