This brass adapter provides a reliable connection solution for various fluid and gas transfer applications. Suitable for use in power steering hydraulic systems refrigeration instrumentation and pneumatic systems it ensures secure and efficient flow control. The adapter features a 1/8-27 male NPT thread on one end and a 1/2-20 male SAE 45-degree flare on the other withstanding temperatures as low as -65 degrees Fahrenheit.

The highly durable brass construction offers corrosion resistance and longevity making it ideal for systems handling LP and natural gas as well as flammable liquids (available by special order). The tube outside diameter is 0.31 inches providing compatibility with various setups.

got a power steering line that needs adapting from an NPT port to a flare fitting, this a straight adapter or does it have any angle to it?

Straight through, no angle. One end is 1/8-27 male NPT and the other is 1/2-20 male SAE 45-degree flare. For power steering applications it works well, and the brass construction holds up to the fluid and temperature range those systems typically see.
