Correct on both counts. One end is 1/4-18 male NPT and the other is 1/2-20 male SAE 45 degree flare, straight configuration. Both ends are male, so make sure your mating connections are female on each side. The tube outside diameter this flare end is sized for is 0.31 inches. Brass construction throughout, no thread sealant applied from the factory, so you can treat the NPT end however your application calls for.
