what all can this fitting be used for? got a power steering line i'm trying to route around a bracket and wondering if this'd work

Power steering is actually one of the listed applications for this fitting, so you're in good shape there. It also sees use in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, refrigeration lines, and instrumentation setups. The 90 degree elbow angle makes it a solid pick when you need to change direction and clear brackets or other hardware without bending your line. It's a brass male NPT on one end and a male SAE 45 degree flare on the other, so just make sure both ports on your components match those thread types before you order.
