Designed for routing lines in confined spaces, this 90-degree elbow connects a 3/8-18 Male NPT thread to a 3/4-16 Male SAE 45° flare, two of the most common thread standards found in hydraulic and fluid power systems. The Brass Adapter, 3/8-18 Male NPT To 3/4-16 Male SAE 45 deg Flare, 90 deg Elbow is manufactured by K.P.C Southern Industries and cataloged under their Pipe To 45° Flare Adapters product line.
Constructed from brass, the fitting offers reliable corrosion resistance suited to a range of fluid media. The 90-degree elbow geometry allows direction changes where straight fittings would be impractical. With a tube O.D. of 0.5 inches and overall dimensions of 1.12 × 1.22 inches, this adapter is compact and well-suited to installations where space is a consideration. It is also listed under catalog number C1FG90.

Question by: Shawn F on Jul 18, 2025, 8:19 AM
Got a line that needs to make a 90-degree turn comin' off an NPT port, threads are 3/8-18. Other end has to hook up to a 3/4-16 SAE 45 flare. This the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 19, 2025, 9:12 PM
That's exactly what this fitting does. One end is 3/8-18 Male NPT, the other is 3/4-16 Male SAE 45 degree flare, and the 90-degree elbow geometry handles the direction change between them. Overall it measures 1.12 by 1.22 inches, so it stays pretty compact even with the bend built in. Brass construction holds up well across a range of fluid media too.
Question by: Judy E on Jul 27, 2025, 11:11 AM
So this thing's made of brass, reckon it'll hold up if it gets a little wet sometimes?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 28, 2025, 4:17 PM
Being constructed from brass, this fitting offers decent corrosion resistance, so it should hold up well to occasional moisture.

got a tight spot by the pump. is this the 90 degree elbow that goes from 3/8-18 male npt over to 3/4-16 male sae 45 flare?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 12, 2026, 6:56 AM
For a quick fit check, the ends on this elbow are 3/8-18 Male NPT on one side and 3/4-16 Male SAE 45 degree flare on the other, with a 90 degree bend to turn the line in a confined area.
