Question by: Clint S on Mar 27, 2025, 4:10 PM
So, will this tee work to connect a 5/8-18 male SAE flare to a 1/4-18 male NPT? Just wanna make sure before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 29, 2025, 7:48 AM
That's what this ACR Industries tee is designed for – connecting a 5/8-18 male SAE 45-degree flare run to a 1/4-18 male NPT branch.
Question by: Harvey H on May 28, 2025, 7:07 PM
trying to replace a little tee fitting, are the threads on this one 5/8-18 on the flare side and 1/4-18 on the pipe side?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 12:47 PM
On this tee, the run connection is a 5/8-18 male SAE 45 degree flare, and the branch is a 1/4-18 male NPT.
Question by: Terry C on Dec 16, 2025, 12:14 PM
got a 3/8 tube line running into a tee fitting and need a 1/4 NPT branch off it, does this part cover that setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 17, 2025, 1:14 PM
That's what this fitting handles. The run side is 5/8-18 male SAE 45 degree flare, which corresponds to 3/8 inch OD tubing, and the branch comes off as 1/4-18 male NPT. So if your main line is 3/8 OD and you need a quarter-inch pipe thread takeoff, this tee covers both connections in one piece.
