got a 3/4-14 npt male port and need to step it down, is this the right bushing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 8:54 AM
For stepping down a 3/4-14 NPTF female port to a smaller female opening, this bushing fits the usual setup. It has 3/4-14 male NPTF on the outside and 1/2-14 female NPTF on the inside.

trying to step a 3/4 pipe port down to 1/2. is this the right bushing or am i off a size
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 12:47 PM
For a reduction from 3/4-14 male NPT to 1/2-14 female NPT, this bushing is the right match. One end is 3/4-14 male NPTF and the other side is 1/2-14 female NPTF, so it’s meant to thread into a 3/4 port and give you a 1/2 female connection.
